95+ Hour IBCLC Prep Course Registration

Congratulations on your decision to invest in lactation education. The 96 Hour Lactation University IBCLC Prep Course will begin a new session on November 4/6, 2026.

Course Details and Investment
  • Format: Hybrid, including 4-hour live session bi-weekly + 4 hours of self-study (guest lectures) and additional homework, reading and application assignments
  • Tuition: Early Bird Rate $1,275, or three payments of $440. The first payment is due with registration. The second payment is due by December 5, and the final payment is due by January 16, 2027.
    Investment will increase to $1,395 (or one payment of $545 and two payments of $440) on or after July 15, 2026
  • ​Location: Virtual classes accessible worldwide
​Students must register and submit payment in order to be placed on the roster. Lactation University is not responsible if both steps are not completed. Class size is limited and those who have not paid may not be admitted to the 2026 class schedule. ​

STEP 1- Registration
    Carefully read the following statements and signify that you agree to the terms listed by marking the box prior to paying for your training.
    • I understand that if the training does not meet the minimum student enrollment, the course may be postponed or cancelled and all fees will be refunded. 
    • I understand that I will be required to complete a live lecture, and a minimum of 4 hours of self-paced lessons that may include lectures, worksheets, reading, projects, book reviews, videos, research and other education-enhancing assignments, with each module.
    • I understand that I may not record the training (audio or video) of any part of the course. 
    • As a participant of this training, I agree to allow LU permission to: ·
      • Collect my name, address, phone number, and email address for the trainee class list. ·
      • Take photographs of the training which may include me, as well as allow the trainer and use these photographs for promotional purposes online and in print. ·
      • Use quotes from my training evaluations (which I may fill out anonymously) for promotional purposes online and in print.
      • Share my class contributions
    Make up Policy
    • ​I understand that I am required to attend all live sessions and complete all assignments in order to receive the Certified Lactation Professional Certificate and 96 hours of lactation-specific education. If I am unable to attend my scheduled class, I may request to attend the alternate day that covers the same module. If the day was recorded (we will attempt to record the classes), I may watch the recording and complete the required work. If I cannot switch days or watch a recording, I MUST locate CEUs equivalent to the ones I missed and submit my Certificate of Attendance. 
     Cancellation and Withdraw Policy
    • A cancellation or withdrawal request needs to be made in writing and within 48 hours of purchase. The request needs to be to the Lactation University Administrator. Please email info@lactationuniversity and place "withdraw" in the subject line if you need to make a request.
    • A $50 administration fee will be applied.
    • There are no refunds for withdrawal post 48 hours of purchase, though it may be possible to apply the funds to the next available course offering if case of private or personal emergencies/medical issues, pending approval from administration.
    Refund​ Policy
    No refunds will be granted once the course has begun (on or after Nov. 4, 2026). Refunds will not be granted for failure to attend or software incompatibility. Please ensure technical compatibility prior to enrolling in the course. Although we have one of the highest passing rates of an IBCLC Prep Course, Lactation University does not guarantee students will pass the IBLCE Exam. It is the personal responsibility of the student to conduct additional self-study, reading and test preparation to secure their success. LU will not provide refunds to students who do not pass the IBLCE Exam.

After registration and payment is complete, you will receive a welcome letter with information to help you prepare for the upcoming coursework. Welcome letters are sent in batches and may not be sent immediately after registration.
