Complete the 3 Day Foundations of Lactation Education (FLE) ​Training and Start Teaching!

Congratulations on your decision to invest in lactation education. The FLE course is offered as a combination of self study and live virtual teaching, giving you the unique experience of putting what you learn in practice, right away. ​Additional coursework and investment required for certification (CFLE).

Pay the deposit ($355) and hold your spot. Balance of $320 due one week prior to first day of training.
Students who desire to verify have 6 months from the last day of training to complete the Cerification Steps and pass the CFLE Exam.​

If your payment will be submitted by your organization, please ensure that contact information is provided in your registration form. You will receive a notification that your information has been received and within 10 days of the training, you will receive the welcome email with specific details and log on information for the training via Teachable.

STEP 1- Registration

    Carefully read the following statements and signify that you agree to the terms listed by marking the box prior to paying for your training.
    • I understand that I will need to complete roughly 8 hours of self-study videos, reading and assignments prior to the workshop.
    • I understand that if the training does not meet the minimum student enrollment, the course may be postponed or cancelled. 
    • I understand that I should not make non-refundable travel reservations until Lactation University/Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding has confirmed the workshop 20 days prior to the course for in-person courses.
    • I understand that I may not record the training workshop (audio or video). I may take photographs only with the express permission of the trainer and the participants.
    • I understand that this course is NOT an IBCLC exam prep course nor does attendance at this course, or certification as a FLE qualify a professional to perform lactation evaluation, assessment, or diagnosis of lactation related conditions.
    • As a participant of this training, I agree to allow LU/Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding permission to: ·
      • Collect my name, address, phone number, and email address for the trainee class list and referral list. ·
      • Take photographs of the training which may include me, as well as allow the trainer and use these photographs for promotional purposes online and in print. ·
      • Use quotes from my training evaluations (which I may fill out anonymously) for promotional purposes online and in print..

    ​Details of Refund Policy:

    I understand that there are no refunds for classes but I can transfer to another course with Lactation University or Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding within 12 months of the original course date with approval from Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding. A $50 transfer fee applies. Non-refundable travel reservations should not be made until Christy Jo has confirmed the class (usually at least three weeks prior to the class start date). If the class is cancelled by Christy Jo, attendees have the option of receiving a full refund or transferring to another training with Christy Jo. Certificate of training completion is given only if the entire training is attended, the Self-Study portion is completed, and training fees are paid in full. After registration and payment is complete, you will receive an welcome letter to the program, including any resources you may need to begin.
