Lactation University will continue to add educational offerings throughout the year as we build our library of webinars. We have made many of our in person training programs available virtually. Organizations can still apply to host in-person trainings.

IBCLC Prep Course (95+ HOurs)

95+ Hour Lactation Course

Our lactation-specific course covers all aspects of the IBLCE Blueprint and prepares candidates to sit for the Board Exam. Our 5 Hour Communication Course and WHO Code Course is included in the IBCLC Prep Course. The course provides the 95+ hours of lactation specific education needed, as well as an opportunity for clinical hours needed to sit the board exam.

Our 24 hour hybrid course. 8 Hours of high-quality webinars with accompanying application worksheets completed prior to attending 16 live, interactive hours of breastfeeding education. Communication for Lactation

5 Hours of Communication

Communication is a imperative skill for lactation professionals. This course is a pre-recorded, self-paced training on Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Participant Centered Education. It is a perfect course for IBCLC candidates to complete for certification requirements. ​Approved by IBLCE for L-CERPS fulfilling the 5-hour communications requirement.
